Jaan Lehtaru and his colleagues get familiar with the assembly of the BELO-table.

The new lighted low-pressure-table with greater dimensions allows now to treat maps and documents of greater dimensions.
The lighting from below is especially helpful with documents that are written or printed on both sides.

Restoration course in China

From 15th to 19th January 2007 BELO held two restoration courses in Beijing, the capital of China.

Some 20 scholars from different regions of China participated under the auspices of the
Central Academy of Fine Arts Beijing and the leader of the paintings class professor Chang.

There was great interest in the newly bought BELO heatable low-pressure table for paintings and the
BELO low-pressure table for paper and graphics with acrylic dome for climatisation and humidification.

Diploma restorer Iris Herpers lead the course about how to treat oil pantings on canvas.
Diploma restorer Dr. Ryszard Moroz gave examples how to treat graphics.
